Watching the tennis in the funky federation square as the sun goes down sure is a nice way to spend resting after all that window shopping. Melbourne's a very cool city, filled with food temptations (of course!), parks and tram life topped with all sorts of festivals and frivolity.
Spent the afternnoon watching the Gay Pride march and dancing with lots of well dressed (not necessarily all dressed) boys. Then, on the way home, stumbled over a huge Chinese market for New Year as I walked along the south bank. I became part of the large audience supporting the fantastically serious karaoke competition in progress with a stunning skyscraper background.
