morning glory

Wow it's so sunny in England. I'm filled with the joys of spring.... that being the mini eggs my Mum saved me from Easter....Aren't Mum's just great!

Was deliriously tired in a spaced out all night party way last night. Waves of alertness followed munchies and gin. It's great to be back!!

Am thinking the blog should stay open, in a vain effort to keep myself active whilst remaining decidedly blonde. Am available for jobs, courses and parties.

England looks so beautiful.... are my spectacles still covered in wine?

air con and wine

singapore airport. 10.30pm.
free internet being lapped up as i await my flight call. (That's the first call not the personal one- i hope!)

Spent the last 48 hours with Sam's Auntie and Uncle in Singapore, being treated to luxury things whilst trying to recover my rucksack. yes...The said rucksack was miraculously not there when i got off the bus yesterday to take my worldly possesions through immigration on entering singapore. So, leaving angry and lost I continued my journey to the never-before-met relatives of Sam. Amazingly, by the time i'd arrived at the house, the bag had been found. curious. very curious. Spent my sightseeing day of Singapore travelling back to Malaysia to collect said rucksack and proceed to inform tiny office man that i was emptying my bag to look for possible drugs that could have been smuggled into my bag during it's time out of my sight. All clean. Bag safe.

have given up all hope of punctuation as i'm too full to move and wine has blurred my edges. have been filled with delights.

now a plane to catch

Has anyone invented mint milk yet?

Am wildly trying to invent a job for myself. Obviously one that requires a bare minimum of effort for maximum return. In the process i've only developed the cold virus and a fashion for teenage style acne. And who said women glow. They sweat OK.

Have just returned from my beach break, doing nothing but reading on the beach and sitting in a hammock. It's a hard life i know. Now chilling in Kuala Lumpur with old buddies Dave and Emily and their two fab kids. Lunched on scrumptious banana leaf curry which helped remove the long awaited hang over.

Only 3 days left.

on the tiles

Well, these cyber meetings really are diminishing; readying for real contact soon.

Can't believe I've been in New Zealand for 10 weeks. There's still so much to see and do. It would seem however that i have in fact seen and done a multitude of wonderous things, most recently building sculptures in the most incredible garden i've ever seen. Working with artist Josie Martin in her huge Akaroan house of fun and frivolity. I've been sleeping in a double bed boat sumptuously topped with feather duvets and bowers. Eating fresh quinces for breakfast and wowing at the colours and textures of the outside world created with a vibrancy using the power of nature and thousands of broken tiles. Have been learning the art of sculpting the human form, layering concrete onto metal and wire, guided in the art of aligning such newly formed solidities as shoulders, breasts and the like. Harder than you may imagine without a few decades of sculpture behind you! Concrete not a girls best friend when it comes to the delicate soft hands (the ones i never had anyway). what do they put in that stuff? My hands have peeled off completely. Is it lime? Where's the mild green fairy when you need it?

Looking forward to a week in Malaysia on my way home.

And then some decent marmite of course!

The Giant's House

Am going to the Giant's house to work with a mosaic sculptor for a week. Parisian circus music whafts around the hoticultural paradise as mosaic creations breathe life into those who pass by. Am really very excited and have redesigned Mum's garden as well as Weymouth parklife and beyond.

I love Mosaics. Have been collecting photo's of them all over my travels so I think it nicely apt that i can get my hands dirty before bounding homeward.

I love dirty hands too

The deers call in the night when the snow falls.

Have the van for 2 more days so flitting to various generous guests houses whilst transport allows.
