Was picked up in true Kiwi style by Zoe and Dwaine in a camper and whisked off up a large hill to get some perspective. wow. Lush native forest rolled over hills into fields of yellowing grassland. Auckland settling by the sea to the east, with it's islands and bays, and to the west the coastal blue.
Celebrated the signing of the Maouri treaty with a free community festival in a park west of Aukland. Beers and picnic in the eski to keep us refreshed, kiwi reggae on the stage to keep us bouncing all afternoon. It's just like summers used to be!
