So finally after living in Weymouth on sea for the last 6 years and failing to fish at all I got myself out on a boat. Decided the student lifestyle (without the beer) was too much so blew a whole load of cash on a fishing trip!! Got up at 5am this morning (much to the suprize of my fellow dorm members who are used to being kept up til all hours not got up!!- I'm sure that'll come!) donned all the warm clothing layers I hadn't discarded and set off into the sunrise with 3 others and our skipper. Caught a few sweeps and this amazing king fish ... sadly at only 60cm it had to be thrown back. The sweeps i caught (plus a few extra donations) will be filleted, tossed in seasoned flour and thrown on the barbie. A fab day out... Might have to get out the credit card more often (NO!)
Have been here in Ulladulla for 3 days now. Bush, beaches and back to blue skies again after a few cloudy yet warm days. Off to Batemans Bay tomorrow for some new adventures.
